Care Tips For Your Art

For advice specifically for prints, canvas, and frames:

  • Photographic Prints: Photographs are prone to fading with long daily exposure to sunlight. To have a longer lifetime, do not leave the photo print in areas that have more than 5 hours of direct sunlight every day. Only dust the photographs directly. Do not dampen or bend.

    • If you decide to store the prints, make sure to wrap them in an acid free paper that has no ink. Then, store them in a sealed container to help keep dust and moisture off.

  • Canvas Care: Dry-Dust Canvas with microfiber cloth only. Do not use cleaners, water, or abrasive cloths.

  • Frames: Dry-dust your frame or use a damp cloth for deep cleaning. Always use a fresh microfiber cloth. Paper towels and other abrasive cloths can leave scuffs on acrylic. Don't use Windex or any solution that contains ammonia. A vinegar solution should suffice.

    • No need to take the photo or artwork out to clean.
